Gundam Reconguista in G EP01-02

YES ITS FINALLY HERE!!!

Look at this new Gundam the G-Self.

K I admit. I was but skeptic when I first saw it but it grew on me. 

I  mean look at it. It looks glorious.

Its GLORIOUS!

This series is written and directed by Yoshiyuki, Tomino who did original Gundam series so you know it would be good. I saw first 2 episode and yes it was good. Great music, Great characters, and great story line.

The series started with the main unit with its great looking backpack. Showing what it would do. 

I am glad it didn't go into all the drama just to show its  main robot like he did before.

But than this happens.

Pilot ejects at high altitude where there is very thin air. Very dangerous to body, specially brain. I thought 

Here we go again. Tomino is killing everyone again. (Google 'Kill'em all Tomino' for more info)

But he didn't. He stated that this show is for children. (Oh I bet he will kill a hero or heroin or two)

Anyways after this short 'battle' than it went to introduction phase.

And the girls. (one on the left looks very familiar)

Who was there for husband search?

And its a tradition? what the ?

Well Looking at the opening, that might come true for at least one girl (Please Mr. Tomino don't kill her)

If you think the characters and robot looks like from Eureka Seven series than yes you are correct. They are designed by Kenichi, Yoshiha who did Eureka Seven. Some might complain, But I think they are great.

Speaking of robots, the grunt suits, which are my favorite looks great.

Well.... The training suit needs some help...

But like this Catsith. there are some interesting design.

And this enemy grunt suit... the Grimoir. OMG I love this suit. It looks awesome!

Fucking awesome. You bet I will buy the new kits.

Oh and the characters. They are beautiful.
Like this girl named Aida Surugan (who is hinted to be a princess.)

The main character definitely fell for her... I mean look at him... love struck.

Yeah I fell for her too... I mean look at that ass ( Skipped few frames on this picture..... but I caught when her ass was slapped by a rock)

DAT ASS! (And the camera angle... ^^)

There was also Damsel in distress effect there so who knows, Bellri might get her.

One question I had about this animation was if this was related to original Gundam or not, than there was this scene from second episode.

So yes there is very high chance that they are. I am saying that because of what happened to Turn A Gundam.

Also looks like there will be other Gundams as well, looking at this ending theme. (Is that TRANS!?!?!?)

They look freaking awesome. I can't wait to build the Gunpla kits.

Oh and Mr. Tomino... Please don't kill any protagonist...
