I searched online but There wasn't much information about these kits, not to mention no pictures of custom paint version. All the pictures were out of box build and everyone giving out good reviews on it.
The price was bit expensive, but I though I would try it. I did paint it and kept it as original color.
Its not a bad kit... but it really isn't worth its asking price.
Lets start with the box.
The box art is really simple but beautiful artwork. I am not really familiar with Frame Arms series so I am assuming its a spin off from its main series.
And yeah... Its from Kotobukiya. This will be my first one.
What really got me was the picture of its water slide stickers... its got underwear on it.
Manual is simple but beautiful as well.
And its got pictures of custom kit with weapons from different kits.
And paint and decal guide. Not bad.
The manual is well laid out as well. I can't read Japanese, but I had no problem figuring it out.
Here are the parts laid out. Not alot of parts.. Considering that its prices is on par with Gundam Master Grade kits.
Here is the well detailed (Only detailed part as far as i can see) panty.
There are few face kits. they are just looking at different directions. At least you can swap it out.
Different kind of hands. They are soft plastic which works well.
Here is the water slide decals. Thank you for the water slide (Hey Bandai... Look at this!) they even included eye decals for painting.
There was also a piece of paper showing that you can swap parts with main frame arm series.
The parts are clean.. but scarcely detailed. (unlike its panty)
And here is the out of box built. All things considered its not a bad looking kit with just straight build with decals.
Here is that panty shot. Don't worry more coming.
Some spare parts. You can make this to look like the box art.
Like this.
The kit does have alot of problems. Like this line. I had to alot of lines by glueing and sanding it. But some part, because of the color separation was bit hard to do.
However the main problem was its hip joint. The picture below shows the ball joint
And its suppose to be inside there and stay in there... except when I move the hip, it chewed out the ball joint and now its lose (yup she got a lose hip)
And yeah... more line issues...
Its also on her hair... and I gave up on it.
And here is the painted version... It used to look good. However after using semi-gloss clear coat, it was completely ruined... sniff.
Here is the finished panty shot. I know you wanted to see it. Everyone used striped panty so I sued this one instead. I think I made a mistake. Stripe panty would have looked better.
Sigh... that semi gloss coat ruined everything.... just look at that wet overly saturated head.
And here are the paints I used.
