The HG Origin kits are amazing. So much detail on such a cheap kit. In fact the kit was so detailed, I have decided not to paint this kit but detail the out of box build.
Yes. This kit is out of box build that have been detailed.
Well as usual, let's start with the box. Beautiful drawing.
This kit does not have alot of parts.
This kit does have alot of stickers for HG kit. The stickers are similar to the one that are in RG kits.
The manual. Sticker and color guide is in the back and it was very helpful.
Here is the out of box build without the stickers.
Oops I forgot to move the shoulders. Don't worry this kit does not look like 80s kit. The shoulder moves and this kit can be posed for a great action shots.
The kit includes a rifle, shield, and two beam sabers.
The beam sabers can be attached to either shield or on its arm.
Which can be made into an awesome action pose.
As I mentioned earlier, I only detailed this kit. No airbrush was used.
First I applied the stickers and painted some of the non-detailed parts like the black part on its ankle. I also used same paint to create chipping effect. After that I used oil paint with various brushing techniques to create rust and stain effect. I also dry brushed some parts to make it look worn. Finally I sealed it all with a flat top coat.
Looks great right?
I have few more Origin kits like Zaku I. I am going to detailed them as well to see how cool I can make it look.
