GK Rem Wedding Version

This is a garage kit I purchased from E2046. The kit is Rem Wedding Version. She is from Re:Zero series and is probably one of my favorite characters. 

This kit was a lot easier than ToLoveRu kits that I have built although it had more parts. It was probably because all the parts fit without much heat bending. The hip parts were bit misaligned because parts moved outward during heat bending and I was unable to fix it. Now there is a large gap and it really killed the kit. I should have used some fillers.

Another hard part was her flowers. They were in pieces and It took a while to figure out which part goes where.

The kit was painted using Tamiya Acrylics. Most parts were airbrushed including subtle shading. I feel that Tamiya Acrylics are easy to do this subtle shading compared to Vallejo Acrylics. Some of the parts were brushed such as her undergarments using Vallejo. Garter belts where it shows through the skin were dry brushed on after skin tone was painted and results came out great.

For more detailed shading I used pastel shading.

For her eyes, which is my weak point, I used the included water slide decals. I have to cut the decals however once done, the result was great.

Towards the end, I did rush to the finish so some parts, especially her flowers came out horrible. I really need to calm myself.

Her skirt can be taken off. So I didn't glue the upper chest part so I can remove them again and again.
