MG XXXG-01S SHENLONG WIP 2

Making use of my 3 day weekend I finished painting on my Shenlong. The parts are still all separated and waiting to dry. I usually give a day to 2 days for it to fully dry before installing so it doesn't scratch it. If I used Laquar I wouldn't need that long, but I use Acrylic so they are really prone to scratch. For now frame is installed and others are still lying around

Oh yeah. I painted the figure while I was at it. It came out well.

I used Vallejo Air for the paint with Vallejo primer. The paint works great and while pre-shading does not work well, it works great with after shading. Basically I add bit of white or black and shade the part. Because of its scale, exaggerate shading works really well. I will put up more pictures next week. Hopefully I get some free time on Thursday to install all the parts.
