Finished putting together new Megami Device kit. ASRA Ninja. The lesser popular of the ASRA series.
I really wanted Archer kit, but they are sold out everywhere.
Still, this kit is not a bad kit. It's actually very nice.
Starting from the box art.
The manual.
Inside the manual, there is a posed kit. The Samurai mode on the bottom right caught my eyes. Unfortunately, You need Archer kit to get that mode. I will get it.
Color chart and decal guide.
Following the tradition, this kit comes with a lot of decals. And it is the waterslide decals. Nice.
Another surprise was the face. It only comes with three, however, one of them is a lewd face. I guess Kotobukiya is listening to their fans. The half face on the right is for the masked face.
The hands come attached to the sprue just like Baihu kits did. This kit has ball jointed hand and the sprues are attached to the ball, so less cleaning was required.
Also comes with pre-painted parts.
And the gold. The gold is the pathetic gold that is well known from Gundam world. This needs to get painted.
The build was simple, however, it has a lot of small parts. Like Baihu, the parts fit properly, with no flesh marks. Simple glue and pressure and sanding, the seams lines disappeared.
Here is the out of box build. Even this simple build, the kit looks gorgeous. Especially the hair.
Its pose-ability is top notch.
That lewd face is a welcome addition. That 'kill me now!' the look made my sadistic side come out.
The half mask face is a welcome addition too, for ninja lovers out there.
Here is the kit with its armor on.
It looks bad-ass. That two swords on its arm, and two on its leg. and that big sword on its back.
The armor makes the kit harder to pose, but when it does, it looks dangerous.
I did plan to paint this kit, but I think I will just top coat it and do basic detailing.
The kit was purchased from www.gundamplanet.com
The pictures are taken with Samsung Galaxy S9.
