Iron blooded Orphan series kits are well known for its unique design such as the inner frame and I have built few kits, however, this one was a little disappointment.
The kit is based on the HG Graze kit which is a great kit. However, due to the large thruster on its hip and the armor pieces, a lot of leg articulations are compromised. in fact, it is very hard to pose this kit, less alone find a pose where it can stand by itself.
Another problem is the hand. It has a simple hand with a hole and it is the only option. The included hand looks ugly and Graze kit included great looking weapons to hide this, this kit does not.
This is the box art of this kit. See that great looking weapon on its hand. That bazooka looking thing? well, it is in the kit but it looks slightly different. barrels are shorter and details are cheap looking.
Here is the manual.
This kit has one foil sticker, which is used for color separation.
Here is the kit fully built, out of the box. The sticker does a great job separating colors and standing still, it does look great.
The large thruster pack on its hip is colored gray and it is not color matched. It is a bit of a disappointment.
I panted this kit white and gray. The inner frame was painted aluminum. I thought about painting chrome to make it like Terminater, but planned against it. After the paint, the kit was weathered using panel liner, oil paint, Tamiya weather master, and pastel.
Please enjoy the gallery.
The kit was cheap so I do recommend it, however, get Graze kit instead.
