Didn't I say to make my abilities average in the next life

Whew... what a long title.

This series... Didn't I say to make my abilities average in the next life, is one of the series I was waiting for this season. I have read its light novel, both web novel, and light novel translation and I have enjoyed it for its comical story. When I heard its anime release I was happy that it got anime release but kind of worries that it would be ruined like Death March did.

Well, I watched the first episode and so far it didn't disappoint.

The story is an Isekai story. Instead of a hero defeating demon lord type, it's about a girl Kurihara Misato who was above average in her life. She dies (by infamous Truck-Kun) and was reincarnated as a noble named Adele Von Ascham. Although in the first episode she goes by Mile because they skipped the beginning part out.

While watching the first episode, I noticed that the story does not begin from the start as her life as a noble, but when she goes to the hunter school. I guess they have to cut some part out if they gonna make it one season. Still, I was glad that they kept the character design faithful to the source. Here are the four main characters.

From the light novel, these four create a party and go on an adventure.

One character, the nanomachines appear to have been changed. They were a sphear shaped robot in the light novel but here it's an animal-shaped one.

Well, I guess all magical girl needs a cute animal mascot.

Still, I am somewhat worried about some of the animation quality. Most of them are good. But, you can see some copy and paste of real pictures in these screenshots.

Still, the first episode was enjoyable to watch. The story is about Mile who wished god to have an average ability because, during her life as Misato, her above-average abilities made her a loner. After she got reincarnated she found out that her abilities were not average of that of a human being, but that of all life forms. So her abilities are half of that a dragon which is the most powerful being. The hilarity ensues as this clueless girl with modern knowledge tries to live a normal life but failing miserably. Usually by stepping on her own foot. This follows the theme of the light novel and so far I really enjoyed the first episode. Hopefully the other show that I was waiting is as good as this one.
