The Momoka resin kit is from GK-M and I built Momokapool to add it as a background. I didn't think much of the Momokapool kit but it ended up being a surprise.
The resin kit was easy. There were little parts and very little sanding was required. Only problem I had was that the hair was too heavy so I had to use long rod on her neck fo the support.
The kit was painted using either Tamiya or Vallejo acrylic paint. Most of the shades were airbrushed on but final details were done using pastel. The eyes are the included water slide decals.
Nest is HGBD Momokapool.
Honestly I would not have bought this kit if it wasn't for Momoka resin kit. I am not really fond of these childish kits.
That said, having built this, I was a bit surprised how good this kit was.
Starting from the box art.
This kit comes with one sheet of foil stickers which only has eyes.
The instruction manual.
And here is the finished kit, built straight out of the box with the only sticker applied to the small green one.
As you can see, it really isn't that bad looking. The parts were easy to cut and clean and they all went together without any issues. It was very easy to build as well and it took me less than an hour even with my slow-building.
There are also some extra parts for the arm so you can add one more length to the arm.
Only problem I had was that the small one doesn't really fit tight inside the big one. I think I missed something.
And here is what the painted kit looks like.
I didn't really want to paint this but since I decided to use it as a background and the Momoka came out great, I decided to do some basic painting. The eyes on the big one are separated so it was easy to paint but I used included a sticker on the small one because the eye section is not a separate part.
Other than that, there were no problem with painting this kit. It fact it was really easy.
I also didn't weather this kit. It didn't feel right.
Here is what it looks like with all of them together.
It took a while to build but I had fun.
I was surprised how much I liked the Momokapool due to its simple easy build. Still I don't know if I would recommend it.
