Look at that! It looks better than the main Gundam from the series.
The kit itself was cheap. I think I paid about 20 bucks for it from local store. LIke typical Bandai kit it had great box art
and well laid out instruction.
Here are all the runners. Being the grunt kit there wasn't alot of parts. It toook about and hour to assemble it.
I didn't just assemble it thought. I thought I brush up on my Hand Brushing technique so I grabbed some Vallejo paints and my brush sets.
Here is the finished product.
Hand brushed with Vallejo paints and weathered by dry brushing with steel paint.
The kit itself is not bad. Its well designed and the mech looks great. However the back joints are weak. the hip joints are too close, and the design of the suit does not have alot of movements. So it really does not pose well. It also comes with basic weapon and hand so If you want to make cool pose, forget it.
Any how how here are few more pictures.
From start to finish it took about 5 hours. I could have done a little more such as filtering and panel lining, However I decided to stop here for now. Who knows maybe I'll add few more touches.
And yes these are hand painted... you don't need expensive airbrush to paint gunpla. This just takes longer.
