It can't be helped. The original story is dark in nature. Reality of war cannot be avoided. I was bit disappointed when Gate was first animated because most adult content was removed. I guess this much is okay.
And man oh man... they really lolified the loli girl. She is important by the way.

Of course this anime is nothing without modern weapon (relatively)
And that mortal scene with delayed sound effect. Thank god they studied that part at least.
I was little disappointed with her though. They changed her clothing to less revealing one. Yes that is less revealing than the Manga version. Still, that angel looks sexy.
The part ended with start of earthquake. This is really getting exciting.
