Macross Delta Preview Episode

I am a big sucker for robot anime. Macross was one of my childhood favorite, and when Macross Delta was announced, I was really happy.

A preview episode was released not to long ago and I finaly had a chance to watch it... and man.. was it good.

The preview episode pretty much showed everything of what is to come. While it is not Macross Frontier, there were a lot of parts used form Frontier. The preview episode seems to focus on this girl.

who is really cute and seems to be abundant of childhood dreams.

The show itself seems like focusing on latest trend of female singing group, Few dancing scene was shown and it was definitely worth it. There were few musics in there like introduction song for valkyrie and I can tell that its definitely going to be great music like Frontier was. I wouldn't be surprised if it was composed by infamous Yoko Kanno. The goddess of music.

Of course what is Macross without its mecha. It was great seeing these guys in HD glory walking around city and blasting everything. Robot combat action was great!

It did get weird when girls  got involved as they dance and sing during fight with the mecha

And than mecha's started to dance.., what in the world?

 Thankfully, the mental illness was not the only enemy, there was another enemy, so action was plenty.

Seeing air to air combat which is famous is Macross series was great.

The preview episode ended with this alien  girl running towards the fire. Cliffhanger...

THe preview episode got me really excited. It held me to my seat as I watched the full episode. Lately the anime have been getting lame, and hopefully this one would bring the excitement back.

And you know I am going to buy the kit.
