Baselard Animation Version

Frame Arms Girls has been releasing redone version of their original Frame Arms Girl kit. The Gourai Kai Ver. 2 was an excellent kit far superior to the original Gourai. Stylet XF-3 from what I heard is excellent as well. I was secretly waiting for the Baselard Ver2. What I didn't expect was a collaboration with Megami Device.

Here is Megami Device X Frame Arms Girl Baselard Animation Version.

Quite frankly I don't know why it's called collaboration between two popular model lines from Kotobukiya, but this is an excellent version of the Baselard.

A.T.K. Girl Heracross

This is A.T.K. Girl Heracross. It's an original Mecha Musume model kit from Easter Model.

It's a model kit from China, so I had some doubts about its quality, but having built this, I was pleasantly surprised. Now I regret not painting this.

HGUC MSZ-006 Zeta Gundam Revive

Zeta Gundam is a cool looking mobile suit which has an unfortunate history with its model kits. It has a transformation ability, which makes it unique, but because of its complex transformation it gave a lot of problems with its model kits. RG is known to be a hand grenade and Master Grade has its own perks and it is getting old.

HGUC Z Gundam from Gunpla Evolution Project or Revive version came out in 2017. So did it fix the issue?

Well yes. But it still has a bit of an issue here and there.

HG GAT-02L2 DAGGER L

Dagger is a grunt suit from the Gundam seed series, and like GM, Bandai didn't really give much love to this awesome mobile suit. I think there was one HG dagger from before with an awesome gun barrel but other than that I don't remember seeing others despite its wide variety.  Last year Bandai released Windam and with that, there was much hype for another grunt suit from the Gundam Seed series, and this year Bandai released this.

HG Dagger L

Once again, Bandai didn't disappoint.

Custom 30MM build

30 Minutes Mission kits from Bandai are great kits. They are simple and easy to build, not to mention that they are easy to customize.

This is my custom work.

It didn't take a lot of work to get this to be honest. Most 30 Minutes Mission kits have standardized joints so it was more like working with legos.

Madoka Yuki Dreaming Style Fresh Berry

Kotobukiya makes alot of plastic model kits in collaboration with other companies. Some are really good like Alice Gear Aegis, and some are bad like LBCS Soukou Musume kits. One of their latest collaboration is with Soudai Shojo Tein, and this Madoka Yuki is one of their first line from this collaboration.

It is not a usual mecha Musume kit. She is a high school girl and nothing much more. Her simple design and the fact that she is a high school girl pushed me away from this kit however, having built this, I was impressed.

Pretty Armor V.1

Kotobukiya began making big money thanks to their success with the Frame Arms Girl series.

It wasn't long before Chinese copy began arriving soon.

This is Pretty Armor V.1, one of the early kits that came out from China. It is a copy of Kotobukiya's Innocentia, and it is a horrible kit.

LBCS : The Emperor Sophia Katakura

She is LBCS: The Emperor Sophia Katakura, a character from Soukou Musume.

She is a feminized version of the famous LBX The Emperor, and with collaboration with Kobobukiya, they made this model kit.

And she is a prick.

HG EMS-10 ZUDAH

EMS-10 Zudah is a mobile suit that was shown on an MS ISGLOO series. I saw the show and loved how it looked like, so I decided to pick up a model kit. It is an HG kit that was made in 2006 so some perks of an old kit were there, but nevertheless, it ended up being a good-looking kit even without painting. I did some extra work and made it more modern like and I am liking what I got.

Dark Advent 01 Dragondress Sophia DX ver.

With the rise in popularity of mecha musume series like Frame Arms Girl, it wasn't long before ero version began to come out. Chinese copy began, but they were a bit crude, and honestly, it was the add-on part that was bad.

Enter Dark Advent series from Alphamax. Their first entry is this Dragondress Sophia and they didn't even try to hide that this is an adult version. They made it very clear from the beginning that the DX ver included adult parts.

And she is one gorgeous kit.

Megami Device Chaos & Pretty Witch

Chaos's & Pretty line of Kotobukiya's famous Megami Device line is probably their least popular model kits. Having built them, I can see why. It doesn't really have the magic the previous ones such as their Asra lines have.

To spice up their sexiness, I purchased aftermarket body parts. It is a resin recast from GK-M. I gotta say, it still doesn't have that magic, but it looks dang good.

MG Gundam Barbatos

 ASW-G-08 Gundam Barbatos.

The main mobile suit in Mobile Suit Gundam IRON-BLOODED ORPHANS.

When I first saw the anime, I was awed by the first episode. The animation and the music were great, but the mobile suit was what really got me.

The show itself started as a regular Gundam show. Standard futuristic warfare with lots of political drama. The actions seem to be okay, showing the awful side of the war while a lone giant mecha dominates the warzone.

Then Barbatos arrives. Like a demon who was awakened from its slumber, seeking to vent out its anger and dominance, I was awestruck by the brutal power it showed with a single strike of its mace. As it stood up, gazing down at its enemies while protecting its allies, I was left speechless at its magnificent display of raw power.

As the show moved on, the Barbatos showed its brutality and savageness and I fell in love with it.

Like usual fanboy, I went and bought the available model kits. Unfortunately, the HG and 1/100 scale model did not do its justice. HG felt meh and best and the 1/100 scale kit looked okay, but it felt off. It looked goofy, and that savageness from the show was not there.

Then the Master Grade came.

And my god what a kit this is.

HGAC Gundam Heavyarms

I am a big fan of the Gundam Wing series.

As a kid who grew in the USA, I can't help it. It was the show I watched when I grew up. While it wasn't the first Gundam show I saw, it was the first I saw from start to finish. I am pretty sure I am not the only one.

Unfortunately, Bandai didn't give much love to this series when it comes to model kit. Despite knowing its large popularity in the United States, their HG line kit is really old and hard to find, and their MG kit isn't that accurate compare to the TV series, not to mention they have their own problems.

A few years ago, Bandai began releasing HG kits from the Gundam Wings series and I was really happy, patiently waiting for Heavyarms and Deathsythe.

And finally, here is HG Heavyarms.

And I was happy.

Nikon Z50. My new camera

Well, I finally got a new camera to replace my aging Nikon D3100.

It’s Nikon Z50

This is going to replace my old Nikon D3100 which is about 10 years old. Wow. What a 10 year difference makes.

It was on sale so I was able to afford this expensive camera with 2 lenses and a bag.

The camera is lighter and with a screen that tilts, I think I can make better low angle photos. Also, focus works a lot better.
